Over the last 6 decades Sony has released some very revolutionary products to the general public. They have given us DVD players, TV’s, Laptop computers, and among the most remarkable have to be the legendary Play Station. The Play Station is an especially high end piece of technology that has captivated millions of avid user’s world wide.
There are not many issues that come to mind when you consider the PS3. It is more advanced than any competitors and more functional that most, even more so than the Microsoft Xbox. Even with all of the Play Stations advancements it still has less mechanical issues than any other system that claims to compete. And it is still available for a reasonable price when you consider all it has to offer and gamer or some who just needs a nice Blue Ray player.

It is a cautionary yellow light that comes on to warn you that there may be an issue with your system. There is no reason to panic if your Play Station starts showing this light. First off the Yellow Light of Death is a general error that may indicate; a failure to upload a game to the hard drive, a power surge may have happened, or that the inside of your PS3 may be dirty or covered in dust. Some people just wish to handle to small problem by themselves and this can be done in many ways as well. You could go to a local technological store, such as Micro Center and purchase a security driver for it and follow instructions of how to put it in yourself. You could also open the PS3 and very gently clean the inside of the system so it is no longer dust covered. But before you do any of these things you should first shut your system down and make sure the light is not a result of over play and getting to hot.

It is like a maintenance light on a car that only means your should perform service.
